(Cottage) Thank you for a lovely stay - a warm winter getaway was just what we needed!
(Cottage) Visiting from Texas, USA and absolutely loved our stay here! Incredible hospitality, beautiful gardens and fabulous cottage. The kids loved playing with the "chooks" (hens) and exploring the gardens (and they loved the campfire too) Thanks for hosting us.
The Studio is a comfortable and extremely well-appointed retreat, set in a secluded landscape that offers lush, stunning gardens situated within a farmyard and framed by vineyards...Did I mention scenery? A shout out to the home-grown/made produce (ah the nectarine jam!), treats that set the tone for your stay - and further convey the blessing that the hosts bestow on all who visit and experience the fruit of their vision back in '76 and their hard work in achieving it.A private and peaceful sanctuary in which to 'unwined' (and situated close to the wonderful wineries around the Coonawarra).
We had a lovely time visiting vineyards. Gardens were stunning. So much work!!
Our stay at Camawald Cottage was wonderful. From our first enquiry Sue and John were great hosts. The cottage itself had everything that we needed for a relaxing and peaceful stay. We will definitely choose again when we are back in the area!
(Studio) Dear John & Sue, a great accommodation in the midst of your magical garden, it was a feeling of visiting a relative in the country. Yes that is how every feeling has been articulated. The jams .... the jams!! If we were to express the entire experience in a single, word it would be "Poetry"We look forward to visit again
3 nights not long enough. A perfect place to chill (out)How many lets (B&Bs) do you know where you can sit and experience delightful views from your front & back verandahs? This is the loveliest private garden we have ever seen, a real labour of love/work of art. Thanks Sue & John for all the extras (loved the rhubarb & the biscuits). Dogs were lovely too. Absolutely nothing to fault.

(Studio) A very lovely Studio and beautiful garden. Thank you for providing food for us, it was delicious and we really enjoyed it. This is so far the best accommodation we have been to in Australia!
